A Normal Pig by K-Fai Steele celebrates the big umbrella covering "normal". Pip the spotted pig revels in art, playground time, lunch and varied home life. All is well until one day a new pig arrives and loudly points out how she is different. Naturally, this is upsetting, and she begs her parents to at least make her a “normal” lunch. They realize it’s time for a family trip to the big city where Pip can see there are a dizzying variety of pigs in the world. This gives her the courage to be proud of her differences, and share her delicious lunch!
