Booktivities: Read, Discuss, Craft - Giraffe Problems
3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Rowayton Library

Students in grades K to 2 are welcome to join us for this book club/crafting session mash-up. First, we read aloud a recently published picture book, and then talk about the story, and finally do a related craft project for kids to take home.

Giraffe Problems by Jory John and illustrated by Lane Smith:
A self-conscious giraffe named Edward tries to hide his neck. But just as he’s about to give up, an insightful turtle helps him see exactly why Edward’s neck is so great. After a discussion, learn how to make your own giraffe sock puppet and take home a new friend!

Space is limited, so please register here. Please register 1 child at a time so we can have an accurate headcount.

New Photo Release Policy effective February 1, 2019. See here for details.
