| The Library has been at the heart of our neighborhood and part of this community, organized and supported by public-spirited citizens, for over 100 years. As a member of our local community you are probably aware that the Sixth Taxing District is a generous and supportive partner for the Library. However, we still need to raise $50,000 each year from individual contributors to sustain our programs and services (Library Annual Fund). Your individual donation is what enables us to keep the Library fresh, up-to-date and growing. Without your support we simply can't make it there.
