| The Library has been at the heart of our neighborhood and part of this community, organized and supported by public-spirited citizens, for over 100 years. As a member of our local community you are probably aware that the Sixth Taxing District is a generous and supportive partner for the Library. However, we still need the majority of our funds donated by individual contributors to sustain our programs and services (Library Annual Fund). Your individual donation is what enables us to keep the Library fresh, up-to-date and growing. Without your support we simply can't make it there.
