It's a good user-friendly cookbook for kick-starting new years cleanse; all the recipes are gluten and dairy free. Clever substitutions such as an almond meal for corn produced a delicious shrimp and "grits" dish. Stock your pantry with some of the suggested flour substitutes and you are on your way to producing delicious pancake and banana bread. The apple pie applesauce is terrific, as is the hint to put a small amount of fat in veg or fruit purees to aid in nutrient absorption. Her Nutella recipe is also fantastic.
