Mondays beginning in October @ 2-3pm
ComputerTime classes will begin at the Rowayton Library on Mondays from 2-3pm beginning Monday, October 3rd. This program is co-sponsored by the Norwalk Senior Center.
Computer professionals from the Norwalk Senior Center will be conducting one-hour classes for the adult computer neophyte. On October 3rd, the subject will be introducing the computer and its components and how to get comfortable using them (and the terminology). How to create an email account will be the topic for October 17th.
For a complete schedule, please contact the Rowayton Library. Space is limited, so reservations are required. 203-838-5038. (There will be no class on Monday, October 10 as the library will be closed for Columbus Day.)
October 3: Becoming familiar with the computer; Starting, proper shut down, care of Keyboard. Explanation of various elements; Explanation of mouse features, its use. Mouse exercises.
October 10: NO CLASS
October 17: Email; Account setup;Composing the message. Use of CC and BCC; Sending; Forwarding; Address book.
October 24: Practice Time.
October 31: Google Search

About Your Instructor:
Earl Eschweiler graduated from Norwalk Technical College with a degree in Mechanical Technology and has 34 years experience as a senior design engineer. He has been teaching computer-related courses for LLI and for the Norwalk Senior Center.
About the Norwalk Senior Center:
The Norwalk Senior Center is a non-profit agency which provides programs and services for older adults in the mid-Fairfield County area. The Senior Center works collaboratively with other organizations and service providers to enrich and improve the quality of life for mature individuals and their communities.

The Rowayton Library will begin offering Computer seminars for adult beginners on Mondays from 2-3pm starting in October and we need a few computer-savvy volunteers to assist in the "classroom". If you are interested in volunteering and are available on Mondays from 2-3, please call the Cynthia Johnson at the Library (203) 838-5038 or email Library@Rowayton.org or drop in and ask for Marilyn to sign up as a computer volunteer.
