Wednesday

July 9 @ 6pm

Wednesdays, July 9, 16, 23, & 30, (6:00 pm) – Pajama BookTalk for Kids – My Brothers’ and Sisters’ Keeper SeriesPizza & Stories. Children, grades K-3, accompanied by a parent or caregiver are invited to attend this family book discussion program. Offering a rich and varied literacy experience for ages 6-10, this series facilitates positive social developments by highlighting four books in which the characters demonstrate empathy and good interpersonal skills.  The discussion enables students to explore the deep structure of a story, engage in meaningful dialogue with peers, and make text to text to self, and text to world connections, as well as examine the authors’ style of writing.  Read and discuss A Chair for Mother by Vera B. Williams on July 9.  Lot Therrio, storyteller, is our discussion Leader.  For more information, CLICK HERE.
