iPhone Photography with Joseph DeRuvo, Tuesday Evening, February 7 @ 7pm

Back by popular demand, please join professional photographer Joseph DeRuvo on Tuesday, February 7 at 7pm at the Rowayton Library as he shows you how to take better photos with one of the most popular cameras out there. The iPhone has become the great democratizer when it comes to photography; we are no longer distracted by which lens, how many megapixels, or what setting for indoors or outdoors. The iPhone has freed us to be singularly focused on what is happening in front of us. We will learn what the camera is doing. He will also introduce a few Applications that offer the photographer both greater control of the picture taking process and freedom to make adjustments after the photograph has been taken. Hope you will join us in this exploration of seeing. Join us and bring your iPhone. Refreshments will be served. Reservations please.

Fairy Yarn Mothers – Knitting for Kids

Come for Fairy Yarn Mothers Knitting for kids (ages 8 and up) with NancyJo Rambusch, Thursday, February 9 @ 3:30pm at the Rowayton Library This program is designed to help kid knitters of all skill levels work on their projects. Bring your own needles and projects. First time students to our knitting program will be provided with a pair of knitting needles and yarn to start learning or working on a project. This program is free and open to the public.
