The 6th Taxing District provides a generous annual grant to the Rowayton Library. But did you know that money covers only personnel costs and some administrative expenses? We rely on donations to pay for everything else that makes the Library a valued community resource.

Here are some examples of what your gift buys:

• $50 - 3 children's books or 2 seasons of a TV series on DVD
• $100 - craft program supplies for 15 children or 3 magazine subscriptions
• $250 - a special children's program or materials for an adult discussion group
• $500 - one-year subscription to "The Hour"
• $1,000 - 4-week session of children's book club
