The Goose Egg by Liz Wong is darling. Henrietta the elephant loves her quiet, ordered life. She swims every day but one day she bonks her head and literally acquires a goose egg. Once the egg hatches she has to figure out how to be a parent to a gosling. The illustrations are priceless, as Henrietta uses her wiles (and her body parts) to teach the gosling how to survive. It’s an exhausting process! The ending is very sweet.
