Students in grades K to 2 are welcome to join us for this book club/crafting session mash-up. First, we read aloud a recently published picture book, and then talk about the story, and finally do a related craft project for kids to take home.

We Don’t Eat Our Classmates by Ryan T. Higgins:
It’s a friendly dinosaur’s first day of school but it’s hard to make friends when she keeps eating them! Find out what happens when she gets a taste of her own medicine. We will explore what makes a true friendship by building friendship sandwiches.
