A Baker's Life

A Baker's Life by Paul Hollywood takes the reader "from childhood bakes to five-star excellence". The back-stories are as interesting as the recipes; he comes from a family of bakers and absorbed a lot of expertise beginning in childhood. The recipes are both sweet and savory and while some are clearly for dedicated perfectionists, many are clearly manageable by the average home baker. The photographs are mouthwatering and it's fun to see this "The Great British Baking Show' star strut his stuff.
