Allie All Along

Allie All Along by Sarah Lynne Reul uses dynamic, colorful drawings to show the progression of REALLY angry to just a little angry. It all starts with a snapped crayon. The narrator’s sister Allie essentially explodes into a pretty scary red monster, and it takes all her brother’s wiles to get her back to where she belongs. He has lots of tricks up his sleeves and is eventually able to dial ferocious down to regular angry and presto--there she is, just like he knew she was all along.
