Before the Fall by Noah Hawley is definitely the thriller of the month. It grabs you on the first page, so good luck getting anything else done once you’ve started this gripping read. It’s no spoiler to say the plot hinges on the aftermath of a deadly private plane crash. Every person in the plane has a story told in flashbacks. The book is cleverly constructed to tease out these tales at the same time it also covers larger issues such as the power of media and the intricacies of crash investigations. You really can’t turn the pages fast enough.
