BEGIN AGAIN- Movie- R - British songwriter Gretta (Keira Knightley) is somewhat stunned in Manhattan after getting dumped by her philandering rock star boyfriend (Adam Levine). She discovers an old friend who introduces her at an open mic night at a local bar. Her lyrics and music totally capture the interest of down-on-his-luck-and-drinking-too-much music producer Dan (Mark Ruffalo). Dan senses her potential, and pushes Gretta to sign with him to record an ambitious outdoors album using the city as backdrop. Gathering a group of musicians as backup, they record in alleys, on rooftops, and even on the lake in Central Park. Gretta’s steady focus and strong belief in collaboration has positive effects on those around her, giving success a deeper meaning to all. A Good family film.
