Students in grades K to 2 are welcome to join us for this book club/crafting session mash-up. First, we read aloud a recently published picture book, and then talk about the story, and finally do a related craft project for kids to take home.

How Many? by Christopher Danielson: The question the title poses should be easy to answer…or is it? Captivating photography and clever questions help readers engage with mathematical concepts in a fun and often puzzling way. Craft time will have you experimenting with fingerprint stamping to create masterpieces of many segments.
