Students in grades K to 2 who are comfortable with a drop-off program, are welcome to join us for this book club/crafting session mash-up. First, we read aloud a recently published picture book, talk about it, and do a related craft project for kids to take home. Paint will be used so dress for mess!
The House of Grass and Sky by Mary Lyn Ray: In this sweet, beautifully illustrated book, an old house in the country stands empty, waiting for a new family to call it home. The house waits as families come and go, rejecting it as too small or too quiet. Will the right family come along? We'll find out and create our own beautiful visual narratives to take home!
