Either/Or by Elif Batuman is the sequel to The Idiot, Batuman’s witty, hilarious novel about Selin, a Turkish American literature major, navigating her freshman year at Harvard in 1995.  When readers last saw her, she was spending the summer in Hungary, teaching English and pursuing her crush, Ivan, a Hungarian math student.
