Children in grades K through 5 are invited to join this workshop and be introduced to the history, culture and techniques used by the artist, Frida Kahlo. They will understand the way in which colors and symbols can be used to express or symbolize personal feelings and will create a symbolic portrait with the use of colors and symbols to express or symbolize feelings and create a mood.
