Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs and created by the Foreign Policy Association. This program provides background information and policy options for the eight most critical issues facing America each year. The topics and corresponding discussion dates are:

  • January 22 - Climate Change and the Global Order by Ronald Bee
  • February 5 - India and Pakistan by Barbara Crossette
  • February 19 - Red Sea Security by David Shinn
  • March 4 - Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking by Ronald Weitzer
  • March 11 - U.S. Relations with the Northern Triangle by Michael Shifter and Bruno Binetti
  • April 1 - China's Road into Latin America by Margaret Myers
  • April 15 - The Philippines and the U.S. by Julio Amador and Deryk Matthew N. Baladjay
  • April 29 - Artificial Intelligence and Data by Susan Ariel Aaronson

A video showing of the topic up for discussion will be shown at 6:30 p.m. every week. Actual discussion of the topic will begin at 7:00 p.m. Participants are invited to join both!
