A recently retired English professor, Harry Wild (Jane Seymore), discovers she has a real knack for investigating and can't help but interfere with the cases assigned to her police detective son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan). Due to their new notoriety, Harry and Fergus (Rohan Nedd) are approached by a woman desperate to find out how her husband died; although reluctant to get involved, Harry's interest is soon piqued.
