La Vita e Dolce

La Vita e Dolce by Letitia Clark is an ode to Italian sweets, from biscuits to serve with coffee to rustic cakes that would grace any nonna’s repertoire (there’s also plenty of gelato and sorbetto). Clark, who is English but lives in Sardinia, writes that her idea for a dessert-focused book rose out of a need for comfort during the pandemic. Flipping the pastel, sun-dappled pages of La Vita e Dolce feels like taking a mini-vacation in Italy. This is a treat. (Cookbook)
