Ivan Locke (Tom Hardy), a dedicated family man and successful construction manager, receives a phone call on the eve of the biggest challenge of his career that sets in motion a series of events that threaten his careful cultivated existence. Taking place almost entirely in his car, driving and talking via mobile phone, the action is all one sided, the action entirely psychological and emotional as he comes to grips with all the areas of his life, as it slowly and just as quietly is falling apart and reconstructing around him. A quiet, intense movie.
