Loner by Teddy Wayne is a chilling page-turner. The setting is Harvard and a disturbing obsession. David Federman has never been popular and has no social smarts. Despite this, he finds a girlfriend relatively quickly. Once this happens the book grabs the reader and never let's go. It’s engrossing and smart, a perfect one sitting read with plenty of twists.
