Milk Street by Christopher Kimball is the long-awaited cookbook from his new venture. It is classic in the sense the recipes are tested until virtually foolproof, but different in the emphasis on spices, bold flavors and a generally more global approach to cooking. The dishes are nicely photographed. This is a fun book to access for original ideas that can be made with pantry ingredients.
