Motor Miles by John Burningham is very creative. Miles is a dog who is really only happy when he is driving a car. Luckily his owner makes him one and off he goes! Burningham is a master watercolorist; you can practically feel the wind in the dog’s ears. Boy and dog joyfully travel through various seasonal panoramas, for all intents and purposes looking as if it is perfectly fine and normal to be chauffeured by a dog.
