DS Sandra Pullman’s(Amanda Redman) and Brian Lane’s(Alun Armstrong)last season, though the series continues. Solving their last cases together with Gerry Standing(Dennis Waterman) and Steve McAndrew(Denis Lawson), the old dogs of UCOS,the Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad, encounter ones they worked on themselves. Brian’s reckless attitude causes him to leave the team, and force, but he recommends Danny Griffin as a replacement. Then Sandra leaves and DCI Sasha Miller(Tamzin Outhwaite) comes from the S.W.A.T. squad, and shows the old boys she’s not only up to Sandra’s shoes, but to making a substantial footprint of her own.
