A New Way to Bake is by the editors of Martha Stewart Living. This is a great book for everyone who loves to bake but occasionally cringes at the amount of sugar and butter that are called for in a recipe. They have clearly done their research well as every recipe we tried was delicious. It’s not news that whole grains are tasty, but it is news when a master baker’s team develops so many imaginative ways to integrate them into the “classics." They also work with alternatives to granulated sugar, and there is a large gluten free section. (Cookbook)
