A small town in New Zealand is upended when a local man’s body is found at the bottom of a one-lane bridge that’s long been a locus of unexplained events. Newly arrived in the Queenstown area, Cook-Island Maori detective Ariki Davis (Dominic Ona-Ariki) investigates the death. Still, he inflames tensions by asking questions that ruffle the feathers of the tight-knit community, especially his old-school superior (Joel Tobeck). When Ariki starts having strange visions near the bridge, he is disturbed to realize he has awakened his second sight, a gift that endangers his life but may help solve the mystery of the sinister landmark.
