Rabbit and the Motorbike by Kate Hoefler with art by Sarah Jacoby is a story about stories and grief. It’s beautifully illustrated and perfectly captures the uncertainty of stepping outside your comfort zone. Rabbit has always depended on his friend Dog’s motorbike journeys to give him a glimpse of the outside world he is afraid to enter. He loves his wheat field but a page turns and his life is sadly changed. He faces his fears, tries something new and finds the road to acceptance and new friends.
