SLOW--Simple Living For a Frantic World

SLOW--Simple Living for a Frantic World by Brooke McAlary is the author’s story of her effort to disconnect from a life that felt over engineered and over committed. Her personal reevaluation of what it meant to live a successful life is revelatory and her “how to do it” is very straightforward. There are chapters on familiar subjects like decluttering and practical examples of changes her family made in areas like technology, food, and exercise. There is a comparison table towards the end called “More of This, Less of That” that sums everything up nicely. It’s well worth the time to read. (Non-Fiction)
