Swift Vengeance

Swift Vengeance by T. Jefferson Parker is a welcome addition to the fall thriller list. It’s fast-paced, with sharp dialogue, well-developed characters, and an original plot. Shadowy terrorists threaten Private Investigator Roland Ford’s somewhat ideal Southern CA existence. He finds himself protecting a friend who ran sniper drone strikes for the Army and is now the target of revenge. His prickly FBI counterpart is credible and persuasive. His sidekicks and tenants often inject a welcome note of humor in a generally serious novel.
