Takes One to Know One by Susan Isaacs is a stitch. Her trademark comedy and acid observations of suburban life are given full throttle in her character Corie Geller. She’s a retired FBI agent now happily married and raising a teenage stepdaughter. Yet something along the lines of “is this all there is” nags at her. Her radar identifies a potential skanky guy sitting in the middle of her weekly small business meeting. The high-speed plot takes off from there. It’s a potent combination of hilarious and thrilling.
