The truth about the fatal night is finally revealed, what happened and why? In the current time-line, Noah is forced to make a decision. Noah, father of four and struggling novelist, is married to Helen (Maura Tierney) Solloway, nee Butler. Noah chaffs at the dependency upon his wealthy father-in-law. In season two, the narrative is expanded to include the perspectives of their spouses.
