The Animal’s Ark by Marianne Dubuc is a sweetly imagined story of how all the animals amused themselves during their long voyage to dry land. The ladybugs played dominoes, the sheep leap frogged, and the elephants swung their baby on their trunks. The idea that all these animals would be pretty tired of each other by the end of a long trip is amusingly addressed.
