Katniss Everdeen is living, with her nightmares of the Quarter Quell, deep inside the underground bunkers in Section 13. As is Finnick, her ally. But Peeta and Annie are lost to the CAPITAL. A wan and thinner Peeta is doing broadcasts for the Capital, his words concilliatory, he looks iller and more gaunt each time. Determined to help Peeta, Katniss agrees to help section 13 broadcast insurgent information and goes to a recently bombed area’s makeshift hospital in another section. The Capital sends in bombers that destroy the hospital and everyone inside. Gale and Katniss shoot one bomber from the sky and she gives an impassioned impromptu speech about the rebellion.
