Support Us

We have been serving the needs of the Rowayton Community for over 110 years with the generous and continuing support of our town. Annually, we receive a grant from the Sixth Taxing District and apply for other local grants. These funding sources, though generous, only cover approximately 60% of our operating costs. Your donations of time and funds are not only greatly appreciated but necessary to continue providing library services the Rowayton community deserves.

Please consider making a donation to the Library’s Annual Campaign today—so that we can continue to make the library even better! Thank you for you consideration—we could not buy the materials or provide educational and cultural programs without your help.

The Association of the Free Library and Reading Room of Rowayton Inc., known as the Rowayton Library, is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization - Federal Tax #06-0736950. Contributions to the library are tax-deductible, under the provisions of the tax code.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at the Rowayton Library is a great opportunity to give something back to one of your community's most valuable resources while meeting interesting people and expanding your horizons.

Volunteers, from teens to seniors, are critical to the Library. Activities include helping prepare the collection for circulation, assisting with programs and lending various talents for displays and fundraisers. Each volunteer helps the library become a better place.

If you are interested in finding out more about the volunteer opportunities available, please contact Library Director, Christina Anzalone at canzalone@rowayton.org.
