The Second Girl

The Second Girl by David Swinson, features a harsh, in your face lead character with a major character flaw--a longstanding drug habit. Very realistic descriptions of the “wrong side of the tracks” heighten the tension. Frank Maar was a cop for a long time and is now a struggling PI. This is a gritty, urban crime novel revolving around the disappearance of teenage girls. Once Frank finds the first one the hunt is on. Lots of action and good dialogue keep the pages turning.
