The Thank You Book by Mo Willems chronicles Piggy’s efforts to thank everyone who is important to him. Of course Gerald the elephant is terribly worried he will forget someone important. Piggie turns into a thanking machine and all eventually ends well, with a nice coda to the child reading the book.
