The Trespasser by Tana French is twisty and tense. Detective Antoinette Conway and her partner are new to the Dublin Murder Squad and the subject of not so subtle hazing that could hide more serious motives. A murder victim and a conveniently obvious suspect start the plot rolling. The danger is literally around every curve and the list of trustworthy colleagues is perilously short. This is another winner from a very talented author particularly gifted at writing dialogue. Antoinette is a complex, winning heroine.
