Three Little Monkeys by Quentin Blake and Emma Chichester Clark is the story of Tim, Sam, and Lulu, three mischievous monkeys who live with Hilda Snibbs. Every time she goes out the monkeys get bored and wreck havoc in the house in the most entertaining (for the reader) way. She is remarkably patient through several very funny episodes, clearly loves her monkeys but she is sorely tested. Children will especially appreciate the lively monkey escapades, which are brilliantly illustrated.
