Thunder Boy Jr. by Sherman Alexie is the story of a boy named after his father. He is not at all happy about having a name that he has to share despite his love for his father. The book is a catalog of his suggested alternatives and the reasons he should have his own name. The exuberant paintings that illustrate the work are a vibrant edition and the ending is terrific.
