The Association of the Free Library and Reading Room of Rowayton is governed by a board of trustees. These trustees serve terms of three (3) years. New trustees are elected each year at the Association's Annual Meeting.

The Rowayton Library Board of Trustees is looking for community members to join starting in July 2026. We are looking for thoughtful, engaged individuals who care about the role our little library plays in the Rowayton community. Serving on the board provides opportunities to:
- Support events and programming that promote community connection;
- Collaborate with others who are passionate about public service and giving back; and
- Help shape the future of our small, but mighty library.
No experience is necessary - just a willingness to contribute your time, ideas, and perspective.
