Museum Passes (NEW!)
The Rowayton Library is excited to announce the arrival of Museum Passes! Come up to the Front Desk to check out a pass today.
Museum Pass Policy
- The Museum Pass must be checked out by a patron eighteen (18) years or older.
- The Museum Pass is due back ONE (1) week from check-out date.
- Late passes will be marked as lost and will be subject to a REPLACEMENT FEE until returned.
- Museum Passes must be RETURNED to the Front Desk, NOT the Drop-Off Bin.
- One (1) pass will be allowed to be checked out AT A TIME.
- LOST or HEAVILY DAMAGED passes will be subject to a REPLACEMENT FEE on the patron’s account. The replacement fee will depend on the VALUE of the Museum Pass lost. This can range from $25 - $1,500.
- FAILURE to pay the replacement fee will result in the inability to use that patron’s account. This includes the inability to check out other Museum Passes, Books, DVD, CDS, and other Library equipment.
- Returning museum passes LATE TWICE will result in losing museum pass privileges for SIX (6) MONTHS.

Notary Services
Do you need your paperwork notarized? Our Notary Public is available to notarize your documents free of charge. A Notary Public is a public servant appointed by state government to witness the signing of important documents and administer oaths. Please schedule an appointment for a notarization.
Required Paperwork
If you need something notarized, please bring two forms of ID containing your signature, one of which must have a photo.

• Birth Certificate
Before You Arrive
Be sure the documents are complete and ready for signature. Please don't sign the document(s) until you appear before the Notary Public.
