SBC has been invited to host a gathering at Rowayton Library on Wednesday June 18th, from 6 - 8 pm!
What better place to hold a SBC than a library-the original place for silent readers! This event will be held outside-please bring a picnic blanket or camping chair with you. Guests are invited to bring their own refreshments.
We can only accommodate 40 people at this event, so be sure to register in advance in Luma.
This will be a relaxed evening filled with good books and great company. Here’s what to expect:
Meeting Flow:
- 6:00 - 6:30 PM: Arrive, settle in, and grab a drink or snack (and maybe say hi to a new face or two!).
- 6:30 - 7:30 PM: Our famous quiet reading time. Bring your current read or discover something new—we’ll have book suggestions ready if you’re looking for inspiration. Don't forget those headphones if you’re listening to an audiobook!
- 7:30 - 8:00 PM: Time to chat! Whether it’s about the book you’re loving, a new recommendation, or just swapping fun stories, this is the time to share.
SBC's Mobile Library will be there, so if you’ve got books you’re ready to pass on or swap, bring them along. It's all about sharing the love of reading—one book at a time.
